THE MARILYN CLUB SERIES

Murder by Dummies

Small-town contemporary romantic comedy.

The Muensters had their niece, Marilyn.  Buzzard’s Breath has Emily Redfeather.  Being the only “normal” one in the bunch ain’t for the faint of heart.

Emily Redfeather, Brittney Redfeather, and Jo Parker struggle to survive the chaos in Buzzard’s Breath, Arizona.  Between Emily getting stuck running a no-kill animal shelter, Jo’s Great Aunt accidentally killing Jo’s mother, and Brittney’s father trying to dig a hole with dynamite, the girls have their hands full sorting out the family crazies.  Sanity is so tough to come by in today’s dysfunctional version of The Muenster Family, that the girls band together to form their private sanctuary in the midst of the chaos—The Marilyn Club.

After years of dancing around their feelings for each other, Hawk and Emily struggle to find a way around the obstacles preventing them from pursuing a relationship.  But the dangers of Hawk’s career stand in their way, and anyone he gets close to could end up dead.  As they work to solve a murder that Jo Parker’s Aunt Maddie is up to her neck in, Hawk and Emily realize they must either find a solution to their relationship challenges, or put their feelings behind them and move on.

Dead Men Ride Motorcycles

Small-town contemporary romantic comedy. (Currently planned for first quarter-2023.)

The Muensters had their niece, Marilyn.  Buzzard’s Breath has Brittney Redfeather, Emily Redfeather, and Jo Parker.  The pool of “normal” in a town full of crazies is growing, but it’s still hardly more than a muddy puddle.

Jo Parker and her new best friends, Emily and Brittney Redfeather, struggle to survive the chaos in Buzzard’s Breath, Arizona.

Between helping Emily run a no-kill animal shelter, dealing with her erratic feelings for Dal, and trying to clear herself of murder charges, Jo and the girls of The Marilyn Club have their hands full trying to find a shred of sanity—not to mention the real murderer.

After moving to Buzzard’s Breath, Arizona, Jo Parker falls for the town sheriff, Dal Ryan.  But Dal’s reluctant to get involved with another woman who might flee the small, dusty Arizona town for the lights of the big city, and Jo takes Dal for a flirt who is unable to commit to any woman.

The tension between them escalates when Jo ends up smack-dab in the middle of Dal’s investigation into a dead body that has turned up in the motorcycle boneyard—and all evidence points to Jo as the murderer.

Will Dal trust his gut, or follow the evidence and put Jo in jail?

What lengths will the girls of The Marilyn Club go to, in order to prove their friend’s innocence?

Death In a Doghouse

Small-town contemporary romantic comedy. (Currently planned for first quarter-2023.)

The Muensters had their niece, Marilyn.  Buzzard’s Breath has Brittney Redfeather, Emily Redfeather, and Jo Parker.  Being “normal” in a sea of crazies ain’t for sissies.

Brittney Redfeather and her partners in crime, Emily Redfeather and Jo Parker, struggle to survive the chaos in Buzzard’s Breath, Arizona.

Between helping Emily build an animal products and placement empire, finding a dead body, and trying to keep her eyes off the sexy new contractor who just might be a murderer, Brittney and the girls of The Marilyn Club are neck-deep in trouble as they try to solve the mystery of who left a body in a doghouse.

After returning to Buzzard’s Breath, Arizona, to help her aunt Emily start a new business, Brittney Redfeather finds herself head-over-heels for Blake Merchant, the contractor they’ve hired to build their new facility.  He’s cute, flirty, weird, successful, and has a warped sense of humor that matches her own.  He’s perfect in every way, except for one minor flaw—he might be a murderer.

The Marilyn Club goes into action again, as they try to figure out who left a dead body in one of their doghouses.

Was it Blake Merchant?

Does he have ties to the organized crime that has been moving into the area with the building of the new casino?

Will Blake and the road to love be cleared, or will Brittney kick him to the curb of the state penitentiary?
